Competitive Thread Partners With Stony Plain Minor Hockey To Provide Player Evaluation Assessments

Competitive Thread announced today that they have partnered with Stony Plain Minor Hockey to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of time trials during the evaluation process for novice-aged players.

“We are very excited to join forces with SPMHA and enhance the evaluation process by providing them with a reliable and accurate solution to use during player time trials,” said Dan Waschuk, President at Competitive Thread.

Efficiency

Competitive Thread’s state-of-the art testing equipment allows them to accurately assess up to 25 athletes in 60 minutes or less.

Limit Error

No stop watches, pens or paper, limit the opportunity for a score to be transferred incorrectly or a button to be hit to soon/late. The equipment treats every player equally and objectively.

Instant Results and Rankings

No more adding up scores and tabulating results. The necessary people are emailed the results complete with player rankings less than 10 minutes after the sessions are complete. Compare and contrast a player’s results to their age, height, and weight range.

Optics

Removes the chance or perceived chance of any politics or related injustices. Each player receives an equal amount of attempts at each standardized protocol. It also eliminates the need and stress of searching for volunteers- which when using volunteers can create additional challenges for organizations like those mentioned above. Competitive Thread provides all the equipment and staff necessary to complete all testing sessions.

Stony Plain Minor Hockey Association

The Mission and philosophy of Stony Plain Minor Hockey Association is to foster and promote minor hockey and to provide a minor hockey program designed to develop the abilities and skills of participants at all levels.

“We are very excited to team up with Competitive Thread for our Novice time trials this fall,” said Mike Thomas, President of SPMHA. “We look forward to utilizing their services and getting the data we require in an efficient and reliable manner.”
